Measuring guide

Open the door that you are measuring and measure the height and width from the back of the door( some doors have curved edges on the front and this would give a false reading). Then measure the centre of the top hinge from the top of the door and the bottom hinge from the bottom of the door. Make a note of whether the hinges are on the left or the right of the door as seen from the front.

You should now have something like this…..

Height 715 mm  
Width  496mm     
Hinged on left  
Top  125 mm  
Bottom 125 mm

Do the same for all doors and drawer fronts.

Then measure the length of all plinths, cornice and pelmet required (allow extra for cutting) and note any extras that you require such as handles and new drawers etc.
